On the morning of August 14 2010 we will be cleaning up the road. We plan to get started around 7 am as it will be hot. It only takes a good hour if there is plenty of help. So please plan to be here and show Gail some love and help her out. She really works hard for our lodge, so again please plan to help.

Come on down on Saturday and give a pint of life. The blood Mobile will be at the lodge from 1 PM to 4 Pm. Remember the life you save might be your own. Remember to thank Gail for scheduling and working on all the community service projects.

Texas Hold’em Tournament
August 28th, 2010
Registration begins at 9AM
Play begins at high noon, without exception!

To Register to play
1. You must be a member of the Loyal Order of Moose or Women of the Moose in good standing.
2. Payment of $40.00 buy-in fee.
3. Agree to Tournament Rules set by Moose Riders Group, using International rules for Texas Hold’em.
4. You may pre-register with the social quarters manager starting August 1st, or register the day of the tournament between 9AM and noon.
5. Only the first 48 players to register play.

The format will be based on a maximum of 48 players in a three tier tournament. Pay out will be 65% of entry fees collected to be paid to the winner of the final table.

Players will receive coupon for complimentary lunch, and there will be activities for everyone throughout the day.

Friday Night, Sept. 3rd. - Bring your campers and tents and setup – Entertainment & Bonfire

Saturday, Sept. 4th. - 11AM – 1PM - Horseshoe Tournament
1 PM – Pool Tournament
Outside games for children (Hula Hoop contest, 3 leg race, water balloons, & watermelon eating contest, if melons are available)
6:30PM - Concession stand serving Hot Dogs, Hamburgers, FF, and other concession favorites.
8:00 PM- Lawn Chair Car Show
Car show to precede movie. Everyone decorates their lawn chairs as their favorite car, and prizes will be awarded for the best cars in show. So, put your thinking caps on and start decorating your chairs, and get ready for a night of family fun. A decorated example of a chair is at the lodge, so stop by and take a look, but all designs are welcome.
8:30 PM - ANDERSON 2018 MOOSE FAMILY CENTER DRIVE-IN
Have good family fun enjoying a movie. Email the title of your favorite PG movie to vtjt35@gmail.com and the movie with the most requests will be shown. Free Popcorn.
